8th Grade Students

Are you in 8th grade? Are you interested in traveling to Washington, DC in March? See Mrs. Hannegrefs in Room 201 or look for the information packets in your US History classrooms!

Prudential Spirit of Community Award

Are you a student who is making a difference through volunteering? Each year the top middle level State Honoree receives an award of $1,000, an engraved medallion, and an all expense paid trip to Washington DC. If you volunteer in school or our community, this could be YOU!! Information regarding this award, The Prudential Spirit of Community, can be found on the bulletin board out side the counseling office. Pick up an information sheet and apply online. The deadline to apply is November 6th. Ramstad is honored to have many students who would be very deserving of this award but you can't win if you don't apply!!!! See the counselors if you have any questions!!

Computer Club

Computer Club will be meeting on Wednesday at 3:15 to vote for club leadership. Any student in grades 6-8 that are interested in joining computer club, please stop by room 230 and get an information sheet.

Minot State University Homecoming Parade

The parade begins at 11 a.m. - 8th grade band will be marching!

The band and flaggers will meet @ 10:30 on central Ave near Parker Senior Center. Students must leave their instrument cases with their parents. (It will make its way North on Main, travel West on Central Avenue and North on Broadway over the viaduct. Finally, the parade will turn West on 11th Ave NW and proceed to the MSU Dome North parking lot.)

Very Exciting news! It is time for the Ramstad Rockers to begin again. This is a choir for 6th graders who like to sing. All 6th grade students are welcome! There is no auditioning or cost with the exception of the purchase of a t-shirt. The choir will practice every Wednesday after school. We will begin rehearsals on Wednesday, September 26th in the music room, room 410. Rehearsals will start @ 3:15 - 4:00

Ramstad PTA

Help support Ramstad PTA by visiting Wings and Rings for dinner. If you dine between 5:00 and 9:00 a portion of the proceeds will help us out!
